A sponsor logo is when a company or big shop put they trade name, logo or slogan in the clothes of the famous people like soccer players. they use this strategy to make promotion for their things for example Banamex, Santander, Bimbo etc.
I think this is a good idea but a little expensive because many people see futbol matches and the only thing the people have to do like soccer players is to dress the specific clothe and the ordinary people only have to wath it.
Also this produce I think subliminal messages which cause great impact on consumers that call their attention to buy or subscribe on it.
